Betty Mae Acker

Dateline; Spring Grove, Mn Betty Mae (Hasleiet) Acker entered her lord and saviors kingdom in heaven surrounded by her precious family on June 7th 2023 at 10:55 am after a long, courageous battle with cancer. She now dances on his streets of gold rejoicing in her new home. Betty was born to Clifford and Patricia (Nims) Hasleiet on February 21st 1960 in Caledonia MN. When Betty was 22 years old she traveled with a carnival much to her families dismay. During her time away she met and fell in love with Allen Acker. They returned to Caledonia and were married in 1983. Together they have three children; Misty, Jesse, and Jamie. They later divorced. Betty then met Brad Heiller, and together they had one child, Manda Heiller. Betty was saved by Jesus Christ in 1994 and confirmed her faith in him by accepting baptism in the creek. Betty was raised a Christian; however, she was a true believer, and lived by the words she read in her favorite book the Bible. She never judged anyone or held a grudge against another person. She forgave everyone. She loved every person she ever met at Jesus loved each of us. Her favorite verse was Matthew 5: 14-16 We are the light of the world, a city that is set on a hill cannot be hid. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your father which is in heaven. Betty exemplified this. Betty had a multitude of job titles throughout her life; however, her passion was housekeeping. You never entered a home cleaner than Betty’s. She shared this with others when she went into business for herself, opening Betty’s cleaning. On January 11th, 2011 Betty and Danley Johnson started dating. They have been partners since. Betty taught Dan’s middle son Riley to drive a stick shift. Betty’s love language was acts of service. There wasn’t anything she wouldn’t do for someone she loved, but cleaning and cooking were two of the most prevalent services she blessed her loved ones with. Betty was preceded in the journey to heaven by her father Clifford and her grandmother Evelyn Nims. She is survived, and dearly missed by her partner Danley Johnson and his sons Michael, Riley, and Dylan. Her mother Patricia. Siblings Judy (Rick) Bearbower, Dona (Mike) Novak, Alan (Suzie) Hasleiet, Diane (Marty Adams) Romie, and Cindy Hasleiet and the 15 nieces and nephews they all created, her children that she adored Misty Acker, Jesse Acker, Jamie Acker, and Manda (Torin Peterson) Heiller, and her precious grandchildren Tyson, Matthew, Summer, Carson, Peyton, Aurora, and her faithful pup Milo. The family sends deepest gratitude to MCHS Caledonia Clinic, and St. Croix Hospice for their incredible care. There will be a Celebration of Life for Betty on July 29, 2023 at the Four Seasons Community Center in Caledonia, Mn at 2:00 p.m. Arrangements are pending with Roble Funeral Home.
