Susan Ann Alseth Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Dateline; Spring Grove, MN Susan A (Stevenson) Alseth, 73 of Spring Grove MN died peacefully surrounded by her children on January 18th. Sue was born September 21, 1948 to Reva and Robert Stevenson; the 5th of 17 children. Sue was a hard worker over all her years with fully retiring from Miken Sports and Reds IGA in 2019. Her years working consisted of Northern Engraving, Rush Products, Alco-Duckwall and bartending at the Corner and Elmers Supper Club. Mom was as Smart-Assy as they come but she meant well behind her wall of negative comments. Her happy place was babysitting her grandchildren, watching the golden child play sports, golf cart rides with the grandkids ( don’t be surprised if one fell off on said ride ), visits with family, watching her Judge TV shows and sneaking cigarettes. Her dream was always to make it to Hawaii however her health over the years made that impossible. Sue will be missed by many including her loving neighbors Jan and Kathy who always kept an eye out for her and our dog Nalla (sneaking Nalla treats) and leaving mom treats on her door step. She is survived by her 3 children, Heith (Stephanie Jaster) Buxengard of Spring Grove MN, Chad (Jessica Bryngelson) Buxengard of Rushmore MN and Bobbi Sue (Tom Pecinovsky) Holland of Spring Grove MN; their children; Kenneth and Miranda Buxengard of Wabasha MN, Lindsey (John); Houston MN, Casey (Skylar) and Heidi Jo of Spring Grove MN, Lexus Buxengard and Hunter and Sydney Holland, Tyler & Trevor Pecinovsky; Great Grandchildren Xavier & Cain Salo, Jacelynn, Jayxton, Jaymeson Buxengard and Arrow Sharp and Special Ex-Daughter-In-Laws Kris Rud and Jill Marten. Sue is also survived by 8 of her 17 siblings. Sue was preceded in death by her parents, 8 of her 17 siblings, aunt and uncle who raised her; Marie & Corbie McFarland, fond niece Rita Barclay and Son-In-Law Joe Holland. A celebration of life prayer service, will be held Thursday, January 20th at 4:00 P.M., at Roble Funeral Home in Spring Grove. Pastor Elizabeth Hermeier will officiate. There will be 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. visitation preceding the service at the funeral home. Private family burial of cremains will be at a later date.
